SAN LUIS OBISPO — Two experts in bee sustainability will speak at Cal Poly in a two-part mini-series titled “Successful Beekeeping in Today’s Environment.” The program is sponsored by Cal Poly’s Center for Sustainability and Farmer Experiential Education and Development (FEED) program. SAN LUIS OBISPO — Cal Poly is co-hosting the 14th annual Vellum Furniture Design Exhibition, a juried competition of hundreds of original furniture designs, in downtown San Luis Obispo on Nov. 3-4.
Vellum Design Build, a San Luis Obispo design-and-build firm, and Cal Poly’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) team up to sponsor the annual competition that asks students to conceive and construct projects that range from tables and chairs to light fixtures, toys and other furniture design solutions.
