Cal Poly to Host Free Screening of ‘Opening Our Eyes’ March 7
SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly’s Art and Design Department will host a free screening of “Opening Our Eyes” at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, in Room 206 in the Engineering West Building on campus.
“Opening Our Eyes” chronicles the work of mother-daughter filmmakers Gail Mooney and Erin Kelly, who in summer 2010 embarked on a 99-day journey around the globe seeking ordinary people who were following their dreams and making a positive difference in the world. The documentary tells the stories of 11 of those people – people who the filmmakers believe demonstrate their belief that each and every individual has the power to effect positive change.
After the screening, Mooney will answer questions from the audience.
