Cal Poly's 'Take It SLO' To Perform Twice May 13
SAN LUIS OBISPO – Take It SLO, Cal Poly’s a cappella ensemble, will present its spring concert at 2 and 6 p.m. Sunday, May 13, in Room 218 of the Davidson Music Center on campus.
The 13-member student ensemble will sing popular songs they have arranged, including selections from their latest CD, which will be available for sale at the concerts. The group’s members are students from a variety of majors.
Take It SLO has received statewide recognition over the past few years and recently competed against college a cappella groups from along the West Coast in the International Championship of A Cappella.
“If you like smiling, bobbing your head, and hearing great tunes, don’t miss Take it SLO’s spring show,” said Amy Stevens, former president of the group.
Admission at the door will be $7 for the public and $5 for students.
