Cal Poly to Hold Forum on Race and Religion Nov. 13
SAN LUIS OBISPO – In light of the recent incident at the Crops House at Cal Poly, the university’s Religious Studies program will host a forum titled “Race and Religion: Your Faith, Your Choice, Your Action” from 11:10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 13.
Philosophy Department Professors Stephen Lloyd-Moffett and Devin Kuhn will moderate the forum, which will focus on:

The role religion plays in creating a discriminatory environment and in healing such environments

How people of faith should respond to racism

The roles race played in the 2008 elections
The forum will take place in Philips Hall in the Performing Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public.
