Forbes Pipe Organ Holiday Concert & Sing-Along
SAN LUIS OBISPO – A new and exciting community event is coming to the Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 16th at 3:00PM. The Forbes Pipe Organ Holiday Concert & Sing-Along is a traditional holiday show with an interactive twist.
The concert features performances by two community youth choirs, the Vocal Arts Ensemble Youth Choir directed by Gary Lamprecht and The Central Coast Children’s Choir directed by Beth Klemm. In addition to these two performances, University Organist Paul Woodring will be playing a collection of holiday carols on the Forbes Pipe Organ, during which audience members will be encouraged to participate in a sing-along.
All proceeds will benefit the Performing Arts Center Youth Outreach Program (YOPAC) and the two participating community youth choirs. A brief reception will follow in the Lobby where holiday refreshments will be served.
