Club Hosts Iraq War Documentary Screening Friday at Cal Poly

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- “Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers,” a new film by Robert Greenwald, will show in free screening followed by a discussion session Friday night in Philips Hall at Cal Poly.

The event is sponsored by the Progressive Student Alliance club. The film begins at 7 p.m. in Philips Hall in the Performing Arts Center (Room 6-124) with open discussion to follow.

For his latest film, director Greenwald (“Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price,”  “Outfoxed,” and “Uncovered”) focused on the lives of American soldiers, truck drivers, widows and children touched by the reconstruction of Iraq.
