Cal Poly Honored by Peace Corps in Recognition of Volunteer Participation Peace Corps Presents University with Peace Pole

Background : This year the Peace Corps recognized Cal Poly as one of the top 25 universities in the nation to recruit students to their program. With 46 volunteers, Cal Poly beat out University of California at Santa Barbara and University of California at Davis in its recruiting efforts, to secure the No. 22 spot. It is the first time Cal Poly has made the top 25 list.
The dedication ceremony is free and open to the public. San Luis Obispo and Cal Poly community members who served as Peace Corps volunteers are encouraged to attend.
