Ten Cal Poly Teachers Recognized in 'Who's Who' for Excellence
SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Ten Cal Poly faculty members have been recognized
for
educational excellence and are included in the 2004 edition of "Who's
Who Among America's Teachers."
Those honored were Mary Cooper, a San Luis Obispo resident who
teaches
in the Mechanical Engineering Department; Enrica Lovaglio Dias,
San Luis
Obispo, Art and Design; David Headrick, San Luis Obispo, Horticulture
and Crop Science; Richard Kranzdorf , San Luis Obispo, Political
Science;
Mary LaPorte, San Luis Obispo, Art and Design; Harap Mallareddy,
San
Luis Obispo, Civil and Environmental Engineering; Paul Miklowitz,
San
Luis Obispo, Philosophy; Michael Miller, Los Osos, Art and Design;
Matthew Novak, Los Osos, English; and Joanne Ruggles, San Luis Obispo,
Art and Design.
The teachers are nominated by their students for having a significant
impact on their lives.
