Cal Poly Police Chief Aids Community Policing Awards Program

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Cal Poly University Police Chief Anthony Aeilts will
serve as one of three statewide judges for a prestigious policing award.

Aeilts will be on the judging panel for the 2005 James Q. Wilson Award
for Excellence in Community Policing, sponsored by the California
Attorney General’s Office and the Regional Community Policing Institute
in Los Angeles. The Cal Poly University Police Department is the
recipient of seven community policing awards to date.
