Cal Poly To Hold Auditions April 4-5 for Sam Shepard's 'Buried Child'
The Cal Poly Theatre and Dance Department will hold auditions
April 4- 5 for Sam Shepard's "Buried Child," the final production of
the department's 2001-2002 theater season.
The l979 Pulitzer Prize winner for drama is a darkly humorous
examination of family secrets and lies written by one of America's most
celebrated playwrights, according to Pamela Malkin, director of the
play and member of the Theatre and Dance Department faculty.
Roles are available for two women and five men. Auditions will be from
7 to 11 p.m. both days in Room 212 in the Davidson Music Center on
campus. Scripts are on reserve in
Room 102.
"Buried Child" will play May 16-18 and 23-25 in the Cal Poly Theatre.
