Cal Poly Homecoming Date Changed; Activities Set Week Earlier
SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Cal Poly's 2002 Homecoming weekend has been
rescheduled to Oct. 25-27 -- one week earlier than planned.
The change was made after Alcorn State pulled out of its scheduled
football game against Cal Poly on Nov. 2, the original date for the
Homecoming football game.
The Cal Poly Mustangs will now play their Homecoming game against UC
Davis on Oct. 26. The Homecoming parade and pre-game barbecue will also
be held that day.
Student Homecoming activities will run Oct. 21-26, the Class of 1952
reunion events will be Oct. 25-27, and Parents' Day is now set for Oct.
